About the Lakes and Community

The Bella Vista Community covers 36,000 acres, and its seven lakes have a combined surface area of 1,000 acres. Lake Loch Lemond is the largest and most favored lake, encompassing 477 acres for boating, skiing, and the best largemouth bass fishing in Bella Vista. It has a full-service marina, including a covered fishing dock, fish cleaning station, gas sales, and boat rentals.

The 220-acre lake Windsor is the next largest lake that permits all kinds of watersports and is another popular fishing spot. Enjoy the serenity of the other "no wake" lakes for an afternoon paddling or fishing around the waters.

The beach at Lake Avalon has a vast stretch of sand with a designated swimming area, beach volleyball courts, paddleboard and kayak rentals, and a concession stand. Or, spend the day swimming or sunbathing at the Metfield or Kingsdale Pool.

There is plenty to do within the community. Residents can challenge your favorite tennis partner to a match at Kingsdale Tennis Center, exercise at 1 of the three fitness centers, hike or bike trails along the Ozark Mountains, play a game of disc golf, or practice your shot at the gun range.

Fishing Tournaments and Camps

Lake Loch Lemond and Windsor host fishing tournaments throughout the summer that bring out the local fishermen's competitive side. Kids get involved in the summertime camps such as Tennis Camp, Golf Camp, or Paddleboard Camp. Or, they can join the Bella Vista Recreational Swim Team.
