The Post Falls dam in Post Falls, ID, controls the Spokane River. Over eleven miles of navigable water above the dam leading to Coeur d'Alene Lake. While there are no specific boating restrictions on the river above the dam, there are 25 mph locations. 

The dam is within Post Falls Park. Extensive trails, a pond, and a boat launch are behind the dam. Visitors also enjoy the overlook by the dam.
